2005-12-26 - 6:56 p.m. I swear this has got to be the most eventful christmas I ever had^^ Christmas eve was lovely: breakfast at macs with kai and lunch with dc. Two family parties = good food + tons of presents <333. And I got to try the cool (or rather, hot)melt-chocolate-into-drink thingo too! Christmas day was interesting: I woke up at 12.40 to a bombardment of smses regarding my iPod shuffle, and got it sold by 3 for $111 without having to negotiate. Didn't exactly expect my ad to have such an overwhelming response o.0 still got calls about it today. Oh, and long beach food is nice~ Today was just plain traumatising...but not completely in a bad way I suppose. Two reasons: 1. I removed my braces. Now they feel all weird and my gums are kinda swollen and my upper teeth still stick out too much, but I don't really mind. 2. I got my entire family interviewed. *is still vaguely reeling from shock*. It's cuz when I went to Aceh I took some photos and wrote a short piece on it for fun, and my dad encouraged me to send it to Channel News Asia. I did that yesterday, but I so totally didn't expect them to even reply can...much less send a reporter and camera man over=x they came half an hour early and scared me out of my wits because I was still bathing, then took photos and interviewed us. Crap la I majorly screwed the interview, wasn't prepared for the english one and then they still did a Chinese one...as if I can speak chinese! But well I guess it was a rather interesting experience - my camera has become a celebrity cam (just kidding, they took a picture of it too), and I've been made out to be an "aspiring photojournalist". Hahaha ohwell. Think they're showing it on the news tmr or something...took almost two hours here but I'm sure it'll take less than two minutes on screen. Sooo yeah I don't know what to think of my christmas lol.
